Strip-down
The engine is dismantled so the true condition of the block, head and internals can be assessed.
Our rebuild work is built around proper strip-down and inspection. We do not simply clean old internals and put them back. The engine is assessed, machining is arranged where required, and worn or damaged internal components are replaced as part of the agreed rebuild scope.
The exact rebuild depends on what we find after strip-down. The point is to expose the damage, measure what matters and build the engine around the findings.
The engine is dismantled so the true condition of the block, head and internals can be assessed.
Head skimming, boring, honing, pressure testing and other machining are arranged where the measurements require it.
Crankshaft, bearings, pistons, con rods, rings, timing components and other internals are replaced according to the rebuild scope.
The engine is rebuilt, timed, installed and checked before handover, with the running-in and first oil-change guidance explained.
